djabberd

djabberd (http://www.danga.com/djabberd/) is a modularized Jabber server written in perl. Here is some notes of the configuration used on a.6f2.net (a community server for a small community).

Known issues

Client issues

• Centericq is still using the agent list feature (looks like to be deprecated) and djabberd doesn't like it. http://article.gmane.org/gmane.network.centericq/4114 - where is the fix ? on client or on server ? I would say on the client. There are already patched version of centericq : http://forum.centericq.de/viewtopic.php?p=2368&sid=b6a64804c0f230ca6a9aa7d9826ee271

monitoring

There is the admin port 5200 that could give information for monitoring the service.
