Re: [linux-team] FWD : Strategic Alliance Between Corel, KDE andDebian
Moi, j'aime bien les machins independants... on peut aimer la distribution que l'on veut et les softs que l'on veut.
Je me fiche de la distribution mais j'aime pas changer parce qu'il faut re-apprendre bcp de trucs. Moi, mon systeme, j'en ai besoin pour bosser. Le configurer est une etape necessaire mais pas amusante (bon, si, mais c'est pas la finalite).
Bref, je suis decu quand des softs se lient avec _une_ distribution et/ou _un_ window manager. Je prefererais que ce soit plus portable.
Le risque a terme et que, justement, le marche Linux devienne hyper fragmente. Tel soft=> telle distrib; tel autre soft=> autre distrib.... mais s'il me faut les 2 softs ?
Ca ne va pas faciliter la vie des utilisateurs.
On peut rever que KDE et GNOME se rapproche pour mettre en commun l'api entre les softs et les window managers. Ca ferait une bonne base de depart et le reste serait juste matiere de gout personnel.
