[linux-team] [RPM] halloween package ;)

Essayez absolument AlsaPlayer !!!
G-é-n-i-a-l !!!

: AlsaPlayer is a new PCM player developed on the Linux Operating System. Since
: the first public beta release it support has been added for various other
: Operating Systems (mostly Unix variants). AlsaPlayer was written in the first
: place to excercise the new ALSA (Advanced Linux Sound Architecture) driver and
 : library system.
: But in the meantime, it has developed to become a very powerful and nifty audio
: player, with great features as input- and output-plugins, scope plugins, sound
: effects, and bufferized input - with this you can change the playback speed of
: all types of audio input (even audio CDs without the need of having a vary-
: speed CD player !!!!). And it's got a quite small CPU-usage as well as being
 : multi-threaded.
: Some of the input and output plugins are shipped in separate packages, so make
: to sure to download all the ones you'd like to use (and for which you provide
: the required libs or tools).
: This package only includes input plugins for CDDA and output plugins for OSS
: and OSS/Lite (kernel drivers). Other separately-packaged plugins are:
: Input : MPEG audio, MikMod (modules), Audiofile (AIFF, Wav, Next/sun)
 : Output: ALSA, Esound daemon

: The MikMod sound library is an excellent way for a programmer
: to add music and sound effects to an application. It is a powerful
: and flexible library, with a simple and easy-to-learn API.
: Besides, the library is very portable and runs under a lot of
: Unices, as well as under OS/2, MacOS and Windows. Third party
: individuals also maintain ports on other systems, including MS-DOS,
 : and BeOS.
: MikMod is able to play a wide range of module formats, as well as
: digital sound files. It can take advantage of particular features
: of your system, such as sound redirection over the network. And due
: to its modular nature, the library can be extended to support more
: sound or module formats, as well as new hardware or other sound
: output capabilities, as they appear.
