Personnellement je me contente de mt, tar et backup/restore pour les exabyte
et dss . Si maintenant c'est un "backup server", tu peux utiliser SMBtar
(pour faire des backups des shares et clients Win9x/NT, ou des outils plus
professionnels (+chers) comme Tivoli / ADSM (le meilleur à mon goût pour un
parc AIX/Linux/NT), Bru, LoneTar,... pour d'autres servers UNIX. De toutes
façons, le DSS-X est considéré par les outils standards comme un
/dev/rmtX(.X) comme un autre...
