Le modèle 2mo de cache ... Je sais qu'ils ont sortis une version 8mo
pour un prix à peine plus élevé et qui aurait les performances proches
d'un scsi ... A vérifier.

Ben je vous écris pour savoir si il y a moyen d'optimiser (avec la
commande
hdparm) mon tout nouveau disque dur IBM de 80Go ...

Voici les benchmark:

 Timing buffer-cache reads:   128 MB in  0.87 seconds =147.13 MB/sec
 Timing buffered disk reads:  64 MB in 30.35 seconds =  2.11 MB/sec

Ce qui n'est pas très avantageux ... J'aurais peut etre du acheter un
Maxtor
...

système
