NetBeans invites you to download the public Beta of its next generation
Java IDE, Developer 3.0 Entry, from

    http://www.netbeans.com/developer30/download.html.

Written completely in Java 2, Developer 3.0 is a dynamic response to
your feature requests. Take advantage of these features:

--Comprehensive Open APIs let users and partners build custom extensions
  to Developer.

--Our Form Editor provides advanced Swing support for design of user
interfaces and generates exceptionally clean code with no special
  comments or proprietary classes.

--New, faster editor with syntax coloring supports time-saving
functionality like dynamic source code completion.

--New Object Browser allows you to filter and then browse your hierarchy
of Packages, Objects and Object Members.

--Multi-threaded debugger allows you to set breakpoints and watches, and
  to follow threads.

--Highly customizable user interface based on JavaBeans.

--Update Center allows you to dynamically upgrade the IDE with new
  features.

--Bean Patterns customize any class like it's a JavaBean.

--Printing support.
