Request:

You own and Adaptec SCSI-Controller of the type:

1505, 151x, 152x, 2825

and want to use it with your Linux system.

Procedure:

Create a boot disk by following the description in chapter 2.7.3 "Making boot diskette under DOS" in the SuSE Linux 6.1 manual, with the kernel image scsi07.

This kernel on this boot diskette should be capable of recognizing your SCSI Adapter. Alternatively you could run the setup.exe program from DOS and boot to the selected kernel.
