Bruno, remember thet the company will issue ownership certificates on the
name you tell me so you will have, indeed, the warranty. Yes , you'll have
to ship the pc back to the U.S.A. in order for it to get repaired.
As I wrote in my e-mail, the PC (laptop) has an autoconverter to switch
between 110/220 volts. I'll find out about the phoe system voltage. When
I do I'll let you know.
I understand your concern about hardware failures, I had the same thoughts
before buying it. But I trust technology these days and not everyone is
able to build a laptop computer so reliability is the key to success.
Besides, the most of the probles with a computer are software ones. But we
as competent linux users will always know how to fix any
misconfiguration.... (Ican see with my mind eye windows users running to
technical servise for a software failure thinking that it's a hardware
one)

Thanks for all your feedback and support for this idea. If I get to go to
liege I'll be able to see my beloved girlfriend after eight. I'd love to
do it.

See ya!!

P.D. I could not join the copy party because I was flying to the USA.
By the way, I'm planning to buy a Pilot V for myself. If any of you wants
some I'l send prices about tomorrow. I just got here half hour ago.
