[linux-team] incompatibility between LINUX (on AMD) and COMPAQ Tru64 UNIX 4.0F (on HPC-Digital..)

       Hi,
I programmed an application on my PC (AMD K6-2 350Mhz, ...) with Linux
(from Infomagic) and it works well. There is no surprise. My program uses
the public crypto library at
http://www.reapertech.com/RSAEuro/rsadown.shtml.
This library is programmed in "big indian" (this info is in the
documentation
.pdf at the end I think)
But I have problems when I execute this SAME program on a HPC-Digital
Cluster
with an operating system Compaq Tru64 Unix 4.0F : I think that my program
cycle. The "power" of this SERVER (=ASTER) can be found at
http://www.vub.ac.be/BFUCC/announce/aster.html .
When I debug, I know that the function "RSAPublicEncrypt()" take a long time
(more than 300 seconds) and that function uses a lot of "exponent and
multiplication" .
Is there somebody who knows why and how to resolve this problem ?

I think that there are a conflict between "big indian" (the crypto library
I used) and "little indian" (the hardware HPC-Digital Cluster with Compaq
Tru64 Unix...). Is this right ?
I hope that somebody will answer me. Thank you
Bye.
