MARCH WORKING GROUP MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT (TERSE FORM) X3T9.2/90-025 hosted by WESTERN DIGITAL CORPORATION SCHEDULE: CAM: March 5, 1990 SCSI: March 6-7, 1990 Fiber Channel: March 8-9, 1990 LOCATION: Red Lion Inn 3050 Bristol Street Costa Mesa, CA (714) 540-7000 ROOM RATE: $75.00 Single, $80.00 Double GROUP NAME: WD/SCSI RESERVATION CUTOFF DATE is February 28, 1990 HOW TO GET THERE SHUTTLE: From "John Wayne" (Orange County) Airport runs every 30 minutes. If you use the Red Lion courtesy phone across from the airport baggage claim area you may get an earlier shuttle (then again...). THE EASY WAY: Exit from the airport onto MacArthur Blvd. heading northbound (left turn out of the airport). Within a mile (depending on where the airport is dumping you this week) you will arrive at the I-405 freeway interchange. Stay to the right, go over the freeway and get on headed northbound (MacArthur actually goes northeast, I-405 goes northwest). After the 55 freeway interchange, the first exit is Bristol St. Go left onto Bristol and go over the freeway. The hotel will be on your left. I suggest turning left at the signal just before the hotel (at the bottom of the "hill") and then turn right into the hotel parking lot. THE HARD WAY: Exit from the airport onto MacArthur Blvd. heading southbound (right turn out of the airport). Within a mile or so MacArthur will "tee" into Jamboree Rd. Turn right on Jamboree. At the next light, turn right onto Bristol St. Now, PAY ATTENTION! Streets will split off and converge with Bristol, but stay on Bristol. After you go about two or three miles, and after the light at Paularino Ave., the hotel driveway will be on your right. The "easy" directions will get you there anytime, but there may be very heavy traffic 7-9AM and 4-7PM on weekdays. The "hard" way may be easier during these times. The hotel is "freeway close", and in some cases "really close" to several Orange County attractions, including the Orange County Performing Arts Center, South Coast Plaza, Disneyland, and Knott's Berry Farm. Lotsa good places to eat; bring money. Also, as before, this hotel is "modem" ready for all of you Power Users who would rather stay in their hotel rooms and play with telephones and computers and stuff...
