     The January 1989 working group meeting is scheduled for Jan. 
9-11 at the Red Lion Inn in Costa Mesa:

     The group name is "SCSI". The room rate (single or double) 
is $70 (plus 6% local tax). The reservation cutuff date is 
December 11, 1988 (30 rooms are blocked).

     The hotel is 'freeway close'. To use the hotel shuttle, call 
from the free phone in the baggage claim area; the shuttle runs 
24 hours. If you are driving, exit the airport by making a left 
onto McArthur Blvd. Get on the San Diego freeway (I-405) north. 
The second or third exit is Bristol. Turn left on Bristol and the 
hotel is on your left after passing over the freeway.

     The hotel is close to the South Coast Plaza with many shops 
and a variety of fine restaurants (back up Bristol, across the 
freeway, on your left). The Plaza is next to the Orange County 
Performing Arts Center, an excellent place to see a concert or 
play. Of course, you can go to Disneyland if you must...

     The telephones in the hotel have data ports for your modem's 
convenience...
